Abstract
We report on the fabrication and characterisation of a fluoride glass fibre single-moded at 2.4 ¿m. From chromatic dispersion measurements we deduced with a very good accuracy the material dispersion curve of the core glass between 1.1 ¿m and 2.1 ¿m.
