Abstract
Frequency-dependent hybrid-mode values of the characteristic impedances as well as the effective dielectric constants are presented for the coupled coplanar waveguide with uniaxially anisotropic substrate for the first time. The characteristic impedances are calculated by using two different definitions, that is, the voltage/current and power/voltage criteria, and both of them converge to the quasistatic values in lower-frequency ranges.
