Abstract
The operations of temperature-sensitive magnetic actuators using a magnetic material with low Curie point are described. The magnetic actuator shows an excellent output characteristic with a long stroke and a wide operating range. The analytical results calculated from a finite element method on the basis of simple assumptions are in good agreement with the experimental ones.
