Abstract
Corrugated metal flanges fitted on sectoral horn antennas are found to be very effective in beam shaping with improvement in impedance conditions. The superiority of these new types of flanges over conventional plane flanges has been established by experimental data. Theoretical aspects of such a flange system have been presented, and they show remarkable agreement with the experimental results.
