Abstract
During the past few years engineers have been processing sampled TV signals in an effort to provide a better picture and provide more features than what present analog receivers can economically deliver. In addition, the continuing cost pressure puts manufacturers into the necessity of reducing component count and using automated assembly techniques. Two approaches have been used to accomplish the above: (1) Sampling the analog signal and converting it to digital words for digital processing (2) Sampling the analog signal and processing the sampled data
