Abstract
The power efficiency of the class E tuned power amplifier was investigated. The present analysis examines the effect of collector current exponential decay during the switching-off transient on the power efficiency of the class E power amplifier. Sensitivity of the collector fall time on the collector-emitter voltage and the collector current waveform as a function of time is demonstrated
