  • Abstract
    The ISEE-C vector helium magnetometer is a slightly modified instrument that originally served as the spare unit for the Pioneer 10 and 11 missions to Jupiter. The essential features of the instrument are described and the speciflcations are tabulated. Scientific objectives and minor modifications needed for the ISEE mission are discussed briefly.
