New home telephone system using Japanese Home Bus System standard

A home telephone system was developed as the first mass product for a basic home information system using the Japanese Home Bus System standard. The home telephone system offers not only communication services but also housekeeping services such as home security and remote control and management of call charges. The telephone sets and optional devices which realized these services were designed to improve the man-machine interfaces and the cost.
