Abstract
A new array processing method based on a new array geometry and a spatial filter to improve the resolution is presented. The array aperture can be increased by the new array geometry. The spatial frequency aliasing can be removed and the effective signal-to-noise (SNR) can be raised by the spatial filter. Simulation results are presented to illustrate that the performance obtained by the new method is much better than that obtained by the existing methods
