  • Abstract
This work is a review of recent progress on spectroscopic measurements in hydrogen, in the optical domain and in the microwave domain. It is shown that having knowledge of the Rydberg constant at the level of 10-11 will furnish in the future a new relation between microwave and optical frequencies
