Abstract
The authors report on the effects of particle interactions in fine barium ferrite particles suitable for use as recording media. They also report on measurements of activation volumes of reversal. From measurements of different pigments, the activation volumes were found to be comparable to the physical size of the particles. However, particle interactions were found to increase the value of the activation volume
