Abstract
A novel approach to the generation of electromagnetic oscillations by means of low-frequency pumping of two asymmetrically coupled linear oscillators is proposed. A theory of such a generation mechanism is suggested, and its feasibility is demonstrated by using coupled RLC circuits. The theoretical results and experimental data are also compared.
