Prolific Contributors and 50-Year SSCS/IEEE Members Recognized at 60th Anniversary Plenary [Conference Reports]

Recognized during the ISSCC 2013 plenary awards program for having 20 or more papers accepted for presentation at the conference over its 60-year history were: Anantha Chandrakasan, Kofi Makinwa, Bram Nauta, Hoi Jun Yoo, Tadahiro Kuroda, Bavid Blaauw, Gyu-Hyeong Cho, Ali Hajimiri, Dennis Sylvester, and Takayasu Sakurai, with ISSCC presenter John Trnka. Those on the podium who delivered 30 or more were, in rank order, Dr. Chandrakasan, Dr. Sakurai, Dr. Nauta, Dr. Kuroda, Dr. Makinwa, and Dr. Yoo. Authros of 10 or more papers who were honored were: Anantha Chandrakasan, James Meindl, Paul Gray, Takayasu Sakurai, Bram Nauta, Tadahiro Kuroda, Asad Abidi, Bruce Wooley, Kofi Makinwa, Hoi-Jun Yoo, and David Horowitz with ISSCC presenter David Pricer. Those on the podium who ranked among the top ten were Dr. Chandrakasan, Dr. Makinwa, Dr. Nauta, Dr. Yoo, Dr. Kuroda, and Dr. Sakurai. SSCS President Rakesh Kumar congratulated 120 SSCS members as first-50-years pioneers of IEEE , as well as special friends of ISSCC - IEEE : Gordon Moore, Takuo Sugano, and Jerry Suran. A total of 9,400 IEEE Members have been enrolled for the past half-century.
