    After a brief review on advanced applications of magnetic fields generated by high-Tc bulk superconductors in Japan, the outline and present status of the CREATE (Collaboration of Regional Entities for the Advancement of Technological Excellence) Iwate Project "Advanced Application of Magnetic Fields- The creation of industries based on magnetic fields application -" will be described.
