Characterization of the Growth of Water Trees

Published data on the growth of water trees originating from different sources and under various experimental conditions have been examined and characterized. A number of independent parameters were required to describe the growth behavior which was non-exponential. It is suggested that discussion of the consequences of a variation of experimental conditions must be made in terms of these parameters rather than through the growth in a fixed time which is a compositeof all of them.
