Abstract
The torque curves performed on Nd15.1Fe76.9B 8 permanent magnets are analyzed taking into account the influence of the demagnetizing field on both the torque and nucleation field. The anisotropy constant Kd resulting from the demagnetizing fields is determined. Domain structure photographs on a surface parallel to the easy axis are taken during the magnetic field rotation from 0° to 360° and 360° to 0°. From the results, it follows that the demagnetization process in Nd15.1Fe76.9B8 magnets occurs by the nucleation of reversed domains
