Abstract
A new laser regime for second-order pumping applications is described. Our laser is a dual-output-wavelength Raman fiber laser that generates a low-power first-order-pump line and a high-power second-order-pump line together. We demonstrate how using four-wave mixing combined to Raman gain in the laser cavity permits better stability of the first-order-pump laser line.
