A New Standard of Current and Potential

This paper describes a new secondary standard which is proposed as a substitute for the standard cell in certain classes of d-c. measurements. The device consists of a Wheatstone bridge which will balance for but one value of current. Various factors affecting the accuracy and permanence of the device are discussed and a number of curves are given showing the characteristics which have been obtained.
