Abstract
We all have IT systems of dubious heritage - systems that we don´t fully understand or perhaps even know all of the components involved. Yet, we continually build add-ons that work well enough that we´d never consider replacing them for fear of breaking something that we didn´t even know was connected. Enter the need for enterprise architecture.
