Abstract
A method is proposed to estimate the phase delays of the sinusoid components in a noisy multifrequency signal using quadrature phase delay estimator (QDE). Linear regression is applied to mitigate the bias caused by the Doppler shift between the input and the reference signal. The variance formula of the estimator is derived. Simulation results showing the effectiveness of the algorithm are presented.
