Abstract
The paper deals with modeling and parameter identification of Wiener systems with strongly asymmetric nonlinearities for control. Two-segment polynomial approximations are proposed for static nonlinear block characteristics. Application of a decomposition technique provides a special form of the Wiener model with two-segment polynomials, where all the model parameters to be estimated are separated. An iterative method with internal variable estimation is used for the model parameter estimation.
