Abstract
This paper describes an optimization method to determine economic load dispatching and also the optimum mix ratio of high-and low-sulfur fuels (fuel mix), when a constraint is imposed on total sulfur dioxide emission per hour. The Coupling Method has been proposed for this purpose. And the Decoupling Method is considered for application to online control.
