  • Abstract
    Based on considerations of material requirements for ultrahigh density media, ordered Fe-Pt media of pinning type are proposed. Preparation methods and microstructures of the media are also presented. The designed Fe-Pt double-layered media show promising signal-to-noise ratio and reproducing resolution for future high-density magnetic recording technology.
