    SSCS DL Stefan Rusu, a Senior Principal Engineer at Intel Corporation, addressed the Society\´s Santa Clara Valley chapter on 21 August about "Power and Leakage Reduction in the Nanoscale Era." Lectures by Ali Niknejad of UC Berkeley, Michael H. Perrott of MIT, and Boris Murmann of Stanford are planned for the chapter\´s September, October and November meetings, respectively.
