  • Abstract
In this article, we investigate what does it take to be an effective software designer in an agile development environment. An agile design does demand teamwork and cooperation. Agile designers need to sharpen their communication and collaboration skills as well as their technical practices. They should value collaboration and collective understanding as much as good design and development practices. It´s a matter of attitude more than any specific technique or process.
