Abstract
The power system education and research program at Howard University is discussed. The research of four students covering various areas of energy systems is reported. The projects are: (1) voltage collapse studies of typical power networks; (2) automated loss calculations and system planning; (3) impact of cogenerators on the stability of a typical power system network; and (4) a data bridge program for three different power flow programs. Brief summaries of the procedure, results, and conclusions are presented
