Abstract
Trends in magnet wire demand in Japan are examined, focusing on the characteristics of the enamels discussed. Applications of enamels experiencing growing demand are described. These are the fine polyester, polyesterimide, and polyamideimide enamels. Applications of bondable, ceramic-insulated, and other wires are also considered. Current Japanese industrials are tabulated.<>
