Abstract
The problem that frequently occur in the practical processing of medical images consists in the lack of machines for the evaluation of images. An example of this situation is analysis of brain tumor types. The very significant and the first step lies in the segmentation of the brain tumor; after this, the applied contrast agent is seen in the parts. The common method where there is a high error possible has to be considered, is to mark these tumor portion manually. Within the second step of the segmentation, the monitoring of the segmented tissues is done together with the correlation to model cases. The quality of segmentation based brain tissue exerts significant influence on the quality of evaluation of parameters. In this research article, the authors describe a classification method which would enable the segmentation of Magnetic Resonance images through a unique three step method of manual tumor segmentation, Tumor modelling and DTI Tractography which would not only help to segment tumor but also be a preoperative planning for image guided neurosurgery and also the modelling of the Tumor in 3D using the software SLICER 3D.
