  • Abstract
    The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission´s Regulatory Guide 1.47 requires that all nuclear power plants be provided with an automatic bypass/inoperability status indication (BISI) system. This system would advise the operator of any bypass or deliberately induced inoperability of the protection system, the auxiliary or supporting system and the systems actuated or controlled by the protection system.
