Editorial

With this issue, I start my term as the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INFORMATION FORENSICS AND SECURITY (T-IFS). The first sentiment I feel is one of gratitude for the confidence that the Signal Processing Society has placed on me. If I look back at the past eight years, I can see the great job done by my predecessors, Pierre Moulin, Nasir Memon, and C.-C. Jay Kuo and all the members of the editorial board to bring this newly born journal to the current heights. As of today, T-IFS is among the most prestigious venues in the field of security, and the journal with the largest five-year impact according to Google Scholar citation record.
