Abstract
In mobile Multi-hop Cognitive radio network (CRN) routing is a challenging issue since Secondary users (SU) mobility and Primary user (PU) activity may cause radio links to break frequently. The stability and reliability of a route depends on the availability of the links constituting the route. In this paper, we propose a mobility aware stable routing scheme that considers the SUs mobility and the PUs activity. First the second smallest eigen value of the Laplacian matrix is used to define the link availability in terms of the PU activity. Second the link availability prediction is used to predict the link duration in terms of SU mobility. Finally a routing metric is defined that takes into account the route stability, PU activity and SU mobility. Simulation result shows that the proposed routing scheme enhances the route stability compared with other routing approaches. Our proposed routing scheme achieves lower end-to-end delay and higher throughput.
