Abstract
An adaptive routing system for transmission of online telemetry data and control information necessary for automatic power dispatching systems has been developed. Data transmission routes are changed dynamically in response to the quality of the data transmission circuits and the status of control stations. The functions of all control stations are identical and each control station can determine transmission routes for all data in the system. A minicomputer is installed in each control station and all necessary system functions are realized by the minicomputer software. Field tests were carried out on the system with four control stations. The tested system was demonstrated to operate satisfactorily.
