Abstract
In this paper, the chain matrix theory of multiconductor systems has been applied to the analysis of long cross-bonded cable systems. In order to highlight the power of the method, typical results of transient voltage waveforms at various points of a system comprising 20 major sections are given. Effects of resistive and inductive sources on the transient waveforms are considered.
