Abstract
A theorem is proposed for the exact expansion of a general
-dimensional rational function in terms of order one, each one of which is a function of each of the
variables. This decomposition can be used for the implementation of a general, linear IIR
-dimensional filter, with great modularity and parellelism in its structure.
