Abstract
This article is the third in A series based on the IEEE PES Power System Basics for Business Professionals tutorial. Perhaps the most difficult part of presenting power system basics is the need to introduce fundamental laws, complex phenomena, and the associated terminology and jargon. It requires a delicate balance between being true to the physical world and being understandable by business professionals. This article summarizes that delicate balance and gives the essence of the tutorial presentations made on the subject of "Introduction to Electricity and the Technical Issues of Its Production and Use".
