Abstract
Pulse injection measurements performed on an electrical generation plant in Sweden are reported. It is shown how these data may be used to calculate the high-altitude nuclear electromagnetic pulse (HEMP) response of the system when it is connected to the powergrid. It is found that the HEMP-induced current stages in overhead transmission lines are significantly attenuated as they propagate from the switch yard to the generator output terminals
