Abstract
Two numerical schemes for the solution of transient quasi-static electromagnetic field problems in nonlinear media are proposed. The approaches take advantage of the use of the Fixed Point Technique for handling the nonlinear and hysteretic B-H relationship. A comparison is developed on the basis of the global computational efficiency and accuracy.
