Abstract
It is known that a continuous-data closed-loop control system tends to become unstable when the feedback circuit includes a delay such as that caused by a feedback filter or detector. This problem is, however, not dealt with extensively in the literature. The influence of a feedback filter on system stability area in a digital control system is considered. A new stability area has been found, whose extent is confirmed both by experimental investigation and theoretical calculation.
