Abstract
In the D0 detector, muon momentum is measured by deflection through toroidal iron magnets. The general features of these magnets are discussed. Design calculations performed with the two-dimensional codes POISSON and ANSYS are described. Full three-dimensional calculations performed with the TOSCA are also presented. Magnetic field and flux measurements are described and compared with the calculations
