  • Abstract
    An investigation is made into the source of combination signals in the fields of two strong signals. It is shown that these signals are the results of nonlinearities in conductors which serve as antennas. The nonlinearities are found to be primarily at the junction between the conductor and the ground although other sources of poor contact may also be responsible. Suggestions for reducing the interference due to this phenomenon are given.
