Abstract
Radio Set AN/TRC-5 and Radio Set AN/TRC-6 are described. An explanation is given of radar-type pulse-time-division methods of modulation which eliminate the relatively cumbersome carrier-frequency terminal equipment usually associated with a multiplex system. Audio performance and radiation characteristics are shown which presage a microwave epoch for long-lines communication.
