Abstract
A class of methods specifically designed to utilize fine-grain parallel processing architectures is proposed. These methods are based on cellular automata principles and are similar to lattice gas techniques currently being investigated in the fluid dynamics community. The resulting methods are referred to as lattice wave techniques. An initial effort to develop innovative electromagnetic analyses that fully exploit the computational powers of current and future parallel processors is described
