Abstract
The author´s design considerations, manufacture, simulation, and layout of semicustom bipolar (SCB) integrated circuits (ICs), which offer an effective alternative for many applications in high-energy physics. It is concluded that the tools to facilitate design and layout are now well developed, enabling anyone with experience in circuit design to design a bipolar integrated circuit rapidly, with a high probability of producing a working circuit on the first integration
