Constitution and Bylaws Committee report

Duringng th e past two years, the AP-S Constitution and Bylaws Committee, with the help of many members of the Society, has updated and reorganized the Society´s Constitution and Bylaws. An additional document, called the Society´s Operating Manual, was also created to describe and streamline the many activities of the Society. This document, along with the Society´s new Constitution and Bylaws, will be posted on the Society´s Web page at http://www.ieeeaps.org/. According to the existing Constitution (Article IX, Section I), any changes to the Society´s Constitution, after proper approvals, must he published in the Magnzine to notify the Society membership of the changes. Accordingly, the new Constitution is presented. The Bylaws have also heen updated and approved by the Society´s Administrative Committee and the necessary IEEE committees. The new Bylaws also appear here. In accordance with the existing Constitution (Article IX, Section Z), the new Bylaws also go into effect 30 days from the publication date of this notice.
