Abstract
From the point of view of a practitioner of “The Plan for Educating and Training Outstanding Engineers (PETOE)”, the features and the problems in the practices of the plan, which emerge at the state demonstrated school of software, are analyzed. Based on the CDIO approach, a mode for the training of outstanding software engineers is presented, which includes the trinity of lecture-based, project-based, and research-based teaching. As is shown in the results of the practices, the mode not only can enhance the students´ understanding of the SWEBOK and the practice teaching system, but also can meet the demands of the CDIO syllabus completely.
