Abstract
A convenient method of evaluating the
function over the parameter space quarter plane is presented. The
function is first expressed as an infinite series. The
term truncated series
is used to approximate
for
where the choice of
depends on the accuracy desired and
is determined by considerations such as computer bit capacity, computational time, and accuracy. For
, alternate expressions are used. When
, we approximate
by 0, and when
, we approximate
by 1. The accuracy is dependent on the choice of the constant
