Electric Power Research Institute. A power ´think tank´ in Silicon Valley

In the heart of Silicon Valley in California, amid the numerous electronics companies, is an organisation developing and administering a co-ordinated national electrical power r. & d. programme. Tony Prins visited the Electric Power Research Institute in Palo Alto in California recently and discussed a handful of EPRI´s 750 or so projects with John Dougherty, Director, Electrical Systems Division.
