  • Abstract
    A new landing-guidance system is to be selected from a choice of three by the International Civil Aviation Organisation in the next year. The US/Australian system recently won a 6 to 4 vote approval from a panel set up to assess technically the three systems; but, the other two competitors, the UK and W. Germany, objected and obtained a deferment of the final decision. But what claim has the British system to acceptance?
