Abstract
Measures of the time-domain energy associated with the current and charge on thin wires, located over a conductive halfspace, are evaluated. The solution is obtained from a time-domain version of the Hallen integral equation, solved by a time-marching procedure. The energy measures involve spatially integrating the square of the current and charge along the wire as a function of time
