President Johnson´s address at the A.I.E.E. Summer convention at Ithaca

The Institute´s fifty-first annual summer convention, held this year on the campus of Cornell University, Ithaca, N. Y., June 24–28, opened auspiciously. The first day´s registration totaled 550, even though none of the technical sessions started until the second day. At the annual business meeting held as part of the opening session on Monday, 330 persons were present, and the several preliminary conferences were well attended.
